It could mean just about anything. From creating boundaries in personal and professional relationships to reading more self-help books, self-care is crucial to a healthy life. Primary-care wellness visits are extremely useful and help ensure that eating habits, sleep, and mental health are good. Most people tend to visit a doctor only when they get sick and view visits to the clinic as something one should avoid. This can prove costly to your health. 

  1. Meditation

A healthy mind is important for a healthy life. Mediation is crucial to achieving a calm and relaxed state of mind. This New Year set a health resolution that focuses on mediation. You should meditate at least 20 minutes twice a day. It is easy to remember as well because 2020 has two 20s. 

  1. Quit Smoking

One of the biggest things you could do for your health is to stop smoking.  Of course, it is not the easiest thing to do when you have smoked for years.  The addiction quality of the nicotine is still there. Luckily there are some tools out there to help you with that.  One is to gradually become less addicted to nicotine using e cigarette juice.  It is a step-down method where you take in less and less nicotine until your body does not crave the nicotine anymore.
