Fleas have long legs in comparison to the size of their bodies, this is what enables them to jump so well. In fact, fleas are one of the best jumpers of all the animals, they can jump straight up 7” and 13” horizontally!
To put that into context, that’s approximately 80 times their own height, imagine being able to do that!
